This Saturday - May 28th, 2022 - marks the 10th annual worldwide Menstrual Hygiene Day. It was created to bring attention to and challenge the stigma around menstruation and increase access to menstrual hygiene products and sanitation, with a goal of ending period poverty and stigma by 2030. But what is period poverty? And what does it mean for women and girls around the world and in Canada?
